When a garden needs to come back to bare ground — for a new build, a landscaping reset, or a commercial development — we strip it out cleanly. Trees, shrubs, hedging, root balls, brambles, the lot.
Site clearances are planned the way a builder plans a strip-out: access routes, machinery sized to the gates, protection for retained features, and a tidy boundary at the end of every day.
02 · How it works
The work, step by step.
01
Walk-over & access plan
We walk the plot with you, agree what stays and what goes, and plan machinery access — grab lorries, chippers, mini-diggers, all sized to the site.
02
Protect what stays
Retained trees and boundary features are fenced and ground-protected before work starts. Any TPO trees are flagged and worked around.
03
Sectional clearance
We work in zones, smallest stuff first, then hedging, then trees. Chip on the ground feeds a grab lorry. Stumps ground out below grade so the plot is ready for the next trade.
04
Hand-off ready ground
Boundaries swept, ruts levelled, photographs taken for your records. We hand off a plot the next trade can start on the same morning.

05 · Frequently asked
The questions we hear most.
Every job is quoted on site — price depends on tree size, access, complexity and what's removed from the garden. We don't bill for the quote visit, and the written quote is what you pay.
Most residential jobs are a single day. Larger reductions, multi-tree jobs and clearances run two to four days. We'll tell you the day count in the written quote.
Trees with a Tree Preservation Order, or trees inside a Conservation Area, need a council application before any work. We handle the paperwork as part of the job.
We take everything away by default. If you'd like the chip for your beds or logs cut for the stove, just say — it's no extra cost on most jobs.
Yes — £10m public liability and £10m employer liability. We're CHAS-accredited and can supply certificates before the job starts.
